Pop Evil
Pop Evil is an American rock band that originated in North Muskegon, Michigan, in 2001. The group has built a reputation for blending the aggressive elements of hard rock with catchy hooks and melodic sensibilities, creating a sound that both critiques and celebrates the nuances of popular culture.
Originally formed by frontman Leigh Kakaty, the band went through a few lineup changes before settling into a more consistent ensemble. Over the years, they have released multiple studio albums that have garnered attention not only from rock enthusiasts but also mainstream audiences.
Notable albums include “Onyx” (2013), which features hit singles like “Trenches” and “Deal with the Devil,” and “Up” (2015), which continued to solidify the band’s reputation for creating anthemic, radio-friendly rock music. Their musical output typically explores themes such as rebellion, societal issues, and personal empowerment, all delivered with a level of craftsmanship that shows their evolution as artists.
Known for their energetic live performances, Pop Evil has spent years touring with renowned acts and playing on some of the biggest stages across North America and beyond. Whether it’s a small club or a massive festival, the band is recognized for their ability to connect with fans through their impassioned performances.

LYLVC
LYLVC bloomed in the midst of an emotionally turbulent 2020, Alyse was undergoing a huge personal life challenge, the pandemic was on lockdown, and LYLVC emerged from the fusing of those two moments fueled by a sense of purpose and began the climb with the passion of people on a mission.
Alyse, Cam, Oscar, Ryan, Seth, and Kenny moved forward with the feeling that this particular lineup was synchronistic and meant to be. With the lineup set, they locked into inimitable chemistry together over the course of countless hours in the lab. Inspired by bands including Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon, the dual vocals between Alyse and Oscar mirrored the musical ebb and flow as their voices “told the same story from two different perspectives.”
A batch of demos caught the attention of multi platinum producer Mike Plotnikoff [Halestorm, Buckcherry, Papa Roach]. Mike summoned LYLVC to West Valley Studios in Los Angeles owned, overseen, and run by the legendary Howard Benson [Three Days Grace, Kelly Clarkson, Seether]. Mike Plotnikoff and Joe Ricard recorded, produced, and mixed the EP during October 2021.
